Coffee in the kitchen with whoever's up early — usually two or three of the same faces.

Breakfast made in the kitchen you can smell from the hallway. Eggs how you like them, not a tray.

Cards, a favorite hymn on the radio, the garden beds, a grandkid stopping by on her lunch break.

Quiet hour. A nap in your own room, the ballgame on low, someone checking in without hovering.

We're waiver-based. For residents on the CADI waiver, care is covered — the family pays room and board of $500/month.
Not on a waiver yet? Call us and we'll connect you with your county case manager to get started. Private pay is welcome too.

Minnesota created Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waivers so people can receive care in a home in their community instead of an institution. If your loved one qualifies, the waiver covers their care here — the only thing left is room and board at $500/month.
For people with disabilities who require nursing-level care in a community setting.
For residents with low or no Social Security income, the MN Housing Support Program may help pay room and board alongside a waiver. Ask us how to apply — we do this all the time.
Just give us a call. We'll connect you with your local county case manager, who walks you through the waiver application step by step.

I just wanted to send a quick note to say thank you for making this assisted living move such a smooth process. It's not easy, especially with county approvals. I really appreciated how easy you were to communicate with and how quickly everything came together. Good luck to you and Homefelt — I know SP is in good hands.
